DeenTask takes nothing in every case. Paid by bank transfer or cash you keep the lot; by card your own processor takes roughly 1.5% + 20p. On the other platforms that processing sits on top of the commission, along with any withdrawal or currency fees. See the full comparisons →

A portfolio that works on its own

Everything here is useful from the day you publish — whether or not you ever apply for a single job through us.

Start building
  • One link that's yours

deentask.com/yourname. In your Instagram bio, on your CV, in your WhatsApp about. It stays the same however often the work changes.

  • Your prices, upfront

List what you do and what it costs. Clients decide before they message, so you stop negotiating from zero every time.

  • Reviews in one place

Invite past clients to review you. They live on your page instead of scattered across DMs and screenshots.

  • Enquiries to your inbox

People contact you straight from your page with a budget and a message. Nobody sits in the middle of the money.

No commission, no exceptions

You charge £200, you get £200.

Paid by transfer or cash, all of it is yours; by card your own processor takes about 1.5% + 20p — never us. It also means no escrow and nobody to arbitrate, so read how to get paid safely.

Three steps, one sitting.

  1. Answer a few questions

Your name, what you do, where you are. Got a CV? Upload it and we'll draft the whole page for you to edit.

  2. Add your work and prices

Images, videos or links — whatever shows it best. Then services with prices, so people know what they're getting.

  3. Publish and share it

Your page goes live. Share the link anywhere, apply to jobs with it attached, collect reviews as you go.

Straight answers

Including the ones that don't flatter us.

Do you take a commission?

No. Not on your first job and not on your hundredth. DeenTask introduces you to the client and then stays out of it — you agree the price and get paid directly, however suits you both. That also means there's no escrow and no payment protection here, so agree scope and price in writing before you start, and consider a deposit on bigger jobs.

How much work is actually on the site?

Not much yet — DeenTask is new, and we'd rather say so than oversell it. Build the portfolio because the page is worth having on its own: it's free, it takes about fifteen minutes, and it works as your link whether or not anyone else ever uses the rest of the site. The job board is growing, and being listed early means being there before the queue forms.

Who posts work here?

Masjids, Islamic schools and institutes, charities, community businesses and individuals — mostly in the UK. Typical asks are posters and branding, video and reels, websites, photography, translation, teaching and cover staff.

Can I join from outside the UK?

Yes, and plenty of the work is remote — design, video, web, translation, online teaching. Be straight about it on your page: mark yourself as remote, say which timezone you're in, and price in the currency you want to be paid in. Jobs that need someone in the room are UK-based, so those won't be for you.

Do I have to leave Fiverr or Upwork?

No, and we wouldn't suggest it. Most people here use DeenTask as the portfolio they send people to and keep working wherever else they already do. Nothing is exclusive.

What does it cost?

Building and publishing a portfolio is free, and so is applying to jobs. The only paid thing on DeenTask is an optional £5 boost that puts you at the top of the listings for a while. You never need it.

Is it only for Muslims?

DeenTask is built for the Muslim community and that's who posts and works here, but nobody is turned away. Bring the work you're proud of.
